FASHION: The Sweet Life

I absolutely LOVE how this outfit makes me look all so sweet and happy! More so because that is all I can say about life... everything is just SWEET and HAPPY!

Challenges will always be there but it's a matter of how you face them. You can either break down or rise above them! I am just grateful for everything... for love, friends, family. Despite all trying times, I can always consider myself lucky. =)

HAIR CHRONICLES: Bye Blondie!

Yes, it's time to say goodbye to my platinum blonde hair! While I absolutely loved being blonde, being away from my hairdresser, Angelo, is absolutely horrible! I have tried to maintain my blonde locks for as long as I can but I give up! So for now, I am sporting a darker ombre hair color. I know I will really miss being blonde and I know I will switch up the color again very soon... and until I get to sit in Angelo's Salon again (most probably next year), I would love to go platinum blonde again!

For now, I think this is a lower maintenance, nice change for me. Especially since winter is coming, I just know how dry my hair and skin will be with the dry cold in Las Vegas! It's time to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!
I have not been blogging as much as before... adjusting to a new life in another country was pretty much a challenge for me. The change is so much like my hair change --- extremes! But honestly, despite extreme changes in my life... I know I could not be happier. Change is indeed inevitable and we just gotta go with the flow. I could not ask for anything more in LIFE and LOVE and I know things will just get better and better.

I will try to blog as much as I used to... I know I just have to sit down and get to it!!! Lol! Preparing for my next blog post... until then... hope you like my new hairdo! =)

FASHION: Soak Up The Sun

Hello October! Its "Ber" months once again and I am so not looking forward to the colder months. While I enjoy the holiday season and the festivities, the cold is definitely something I don't enjoy. I know this month is my last chance to enjoy the heat and I'm feeling all "Summer-y" everyday for as long as I still can.

This top from The Look Nook is perfect for my "Summer Feel". I love how light and airy it is, and the back part is just super cute! My eyewear from Hoshie's Avenue is one of my favorites. I know for sure I can wear this pair even during the winter!

FASHION: Unconditionally

Today's blog post is dedicated to the most amazing woman I have ever met. I am talking about no one else but my loving mom. I feel my eyes tearing up as I begin to write this because of how much I miss her. She celebrates her birthday today, August 17th. How I wish I were back home to celebrate with her! Being in an opposite part of the world away from her is honestly so life changing. I have always been used to my mom being by my side. Despite my independence, it was always a wonderful feeling to know that I could talk to her about all my thoughts and problems. She was there to assist me in any way she could... always ready to go out of her way to be there to lend a hand or to just simply listen. I am sure that most people who know her would say the same thing about her... she is so selfless and loving and one of the most beautiful human beings I know!

As i embark on this amazing adventure away from my family, I thank her so much for supporting all my decisions. For assisting me in any way she can, for her patience and acceptance. For taking care of my child, for supporting all my dreams. I want her to know how much I appreciate her and how much I want to emulate her.

Mama, my bestfriend, I love you so much and I cannot thank you enough for everything. I thank God for you everyday. I miss you and I hope to see you soon. Happy Birthday!
