Makeup For Keeps

As a fashion blogger, makeup artist and woman on the go, I maintain my physical appearance as part of my job. But being so busy, sometimes I lack time in maintaining some things particularly my makeup. Eyebrows are an important part of a woman's makeup routine and a change in eyebrows does wonders for someone's features. That said, I decided to try Permanent Makeup on my Eyebrows with modern techniques like the powder technique and microblading to enhance my features.

I contacted Josalyn of Makeup for Keeps, LLC in Las Vegas to consult and upon seeing her work and asking her about permanent makeup, I was convinced... I had to have my eyebrows done!

The thought of a needle poking your face may seem scary, but Josalyn made me feel at ease and honestly, it did not really hurt! Just a little tingling, slight quick soreness and it was definitely worth it! After she worked on my brows, I loved it so much that I had to have my lashline (thin eyeliner) done as well! Check out my before and after photos below!

My eyebrows and eyeliner have completely healed. It did not take long for the healing process (about a week). I wanted it done before I head to Hawaii so I can run around in the beach and swim and still feel pretty! It worked! and the best part is... I can honestly say... "I woke up like this!" It really is amazing! Check out my photoshoot pictures. I did not have to apply any makeup to my eyebrows anymore, they look so nice and filled in no matter what I do! This has cut my makeup routine so much because I only apply blush and lip stain and I'm good to go. No need to worry about my eyes and eyebrows. Totally worth it!!! Check out more samples of her work below.

If you are in the Las Vegas area, give Josalyn a call! =)

SkyDive Hawaii

It was my first time in Hawaii and heck yeah I made sure I was going to take as much adventures as I can! First adventure on the list... Skydiving! Skydive Hawaii is the largest skydive facility in Hawaii. They have a waiting room, video room and their staff is absolutely awesome. It felt like they were one big happy family.

We jumped at 12,000 feet and I must say I literally felt like I was flying and the sights were truly breathtaking. I could see Hawaii's true beauty. I loved free falling and it's funny how I didn't feel scared at all! After the free fall and the parachute opened, I enjoyed seeing all amazing views... it's way better than a roller coaster! My Jumper, Andy and Cameraman, Tyson were great and they did a fantastic job. Skydiving is an amazing adventure and I can't wait to do it again!

Skydive Hawaii is located at 68-760 Farrington Highway, Waialua, HI 96791. Call (808)6379700 for reservations to make sure you have a slot for the day.

Hawaii Time

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

For my first day in Hawaii, I decided to wear this Iris Impresssions Convertible Dress as a tube top with my denim shorts. The weather is fantastic and I am so loving the ocean breeze. I am so used to the dry air of Las Vegas so I am enjoying the moisture in the air over here. I love waking up in the morning, sipping my coffee in my hotel balcony and just looking at the ocean. Oh how I missed this view! It's my first time to be in Hawaii and I am so excited for the activities I can do here. It's going to be sooo much fun!!! =)
