There are girls who love bags and there are girls who are just a sucker for shoes. I am definitely a shoe lover since birth. I get myself a new pair every month. I can't help it! I consider it as a reward for my hard work.

While I invest in a lot of classic pieces that I can wear in almost any outfit, once in awhile, I get myself some really unique looking pairs that cannot be worn with just any outfit but is definitely a statement piece. Check out this gorgeous pair that I scored in one of my trips to Hong Kong. It was such a steal at $80HK and I just had to have it!

Since my shoes are such an eye catcher, I decided to simplify my outfit to draw more attention to my shoes. I definitely did not want to look all over the place! I paired my shoes with simple leggings and an assymetrical top in blue to match the blue on my shoes.

I cannot wait to wear this pair in another outfit!

It's scorching heat in Las Vegas but who says I can't dress in Leather Pants??? During days that I know I will be indoors most of the time, I take the opportunity to dress in one of my favorite materials, leather! This one from Express doesn't keep me feeling too warm and partnered with a light chiffon top from H&M, it's just perfect for the sleek look I am trying to achieve despite the warm weather.  Though I love my shorts and flip flops, my fashion doesn't have to suffer even in extreme heat so playing it with great staple pieces and light fabrics is the way to go.

It's the perfect time to wear mini dresses while the weather is perfect! I am no longer the party girl I used to be. So the mini dress is no longer club wear for me but just something I would wear to dinner or shopping. I'm loving more comfortable footwear like flats and wedges rather than stilettos so this spiked golden pair is perfect to make the mini dress more casual. I can walk around without getting sore feet and still look stylish even in flats.

Chilling

We are experiencing extreme heat right now in Vegas and I am enjoying it as much as I can. I have probably 3 more months before it gets cold again and right now all I want to do is enjoy chilling outdoors. I get cold easily and during the winter months, I am stuck indoors!

Shorts are my favorite and I can't wait to get some color. Time to think of new outdoor activities I can do to enjoy the heat. In the meantime, today is just a day for simply chillin'.
