Brooklyn Street Art

Last month in New York for Fashion Week was crazy! This outfit was taken after fashion week on the day I took it easy and dressed comfy in my sneakers. The weather was still warm and I'm glad I got to enjoy it before fall. We went out for lobster rolls that day and we spotted this wall on the way. I couldn't resist taking photos... this artwork looks phenomenal! I put on my GeorginaSasha Sunglasses and thought to myself that these were the perfect sunnies to wear against this amazing wall! =)

Boot Season with Shoedazzle

Boots don’t have to look bulky and frumpy. I have a thing for heels and over the knee boots but sometimes I like to opt for comfort. I love how Shoedazzle’s boots are both comfy and stylish at the same time. For this look, I chose the Lynette Boots. I love how I can walk for hours in this comfy pair! I wore this nice dress I had for the summer which falls below my knees. A quick knot on the side, makes it ultra chic for a look with boots! The 90’s trends are back so I picked this acid wash denim vest to complete the look for when it gets a little colder and I need to cover up a bit.

Check out all three looks I did with Shoedazzle on my collaboration on their blog on this link HERE.

Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to follow @shoedazzle on Instagram and my own Insta, @mermaidinheels! =)

Waiting

Some days are cold but some days are still warm. Yup, that's Las Vegas Weather for you when fall season is coming. Since I love warm weather so much, I still take advantage of the warm days to get out and enjoy the remaining days I can still wear a bathing suit before winter comes. Last weekend was nice and warm so it was pool time for me.

I took a few shots of my look before heading out. I felt so cute with my accessories! Check out my colorful bag from Nicole Lee USA. It's the perfect tote when I want to bring a lot of stuff. So much room inside and so pretty too! My Choker is from Free People. I love how it gives an edge to my look. Get it from freepeople.com.

Hope you like it! =)

Charged Jewelry

The idea behind Charged Jewelry was brought to light while experiencing the Vortexes of Sedona, Arizona. The Sedona Energy Vortex is a place where the earth's energy swirls and draws to it's center everything that surrounds it like a tornado. At these magical sites, trees often exhibit this swirling or twisting of their trunks due to the powerful vortex energy at the core of a Sedona Vortex.

These Vortexes, as in life, are fueled by positive and negative currents constantly circulating. Without one, the cycle would cease to continue. These Charged jewelry pieces made the pilgrimage to Sedona and are charged in the middle of a high energy vortex. The earth is exceptionally alive with energy, and the company hopes that each wearer can acknowledge that throughout each negative in life, there is always a positive circling close behind.

The piece I am wearing is Adventurine which aids in inviting prosperity, adventure and new exciting endeavors to the wearer. It is often called the Stone of Optimism and encourages the wearer to be lighthearted, open to new things in life and trust in their hearts dreams and desires. It is also very good for healing past love pain and opens one to new love and new relationships.

Get your very own Charged Jewelry at www.chargedjewelry.com!
You can also get a chance to win a Charged Jewelry piece of your own!
Just follow @chargedjewelry on Instagram and click on the link on their bio.
There will be 100 winners so you might just win one! =)

Swan

Ballet has always been my first love. I will never forget my fascination with ballerinas and how I begged my mom to get me started at ballet school at a very early age. To me, there is nothing like the form and beauty of ballet. Growing up as a ballerina, I learned that the discipline, hard work and end result of the dance was something I was passionate about and to this day, I am grateful for what is has taught me.

As an adult, I now have a career in my second love... fashion. I no longer go on stage and dance ballet but I think the dancer will always be in me. It has taught me how to be good in other forms of dance and sometimes, I like to put back my toe shoes and twirl just like I used to.
