I was recently contacted by JORD Watches to do a review on their watch designs. As I browsed through their site, I was ecstatic!

Jord watches tell more than just time. Their main feature is so unique... Watches made of wood! The designs tell an amazing story with their attention to detail and how they tribute to natural elements and incorporating this in modern, functional design. Since it is made from wood, each timepiece will be slightly different due to the nature of wood. You are sure to have a unique piece in your hands!

I was sent the Sidney Series in Red Sandalwood and Pearl. I love the classy design and the Swarovski Crystals incorporated in the piece makes such a stunning look! The natural red sandalwood is hand finished and pretreated with tung oils. This piece is splash-proof but should not be submerged in water (3 ATM). Caring for this timepiece is not difficult. Lemon or orange oil extract is best for cleaning the natural wood and avoid extremely hot, cold and excessively dry / humid environments when storing it.

They have so many beautiful designs for both men and women. They are functional, beautiful and most of all, sustainable. I feel so lucky to own my own JORD timepiece!
